Our client Children’s Theater of Madison is a nonprofit who was desperately in need of a re-platforming.
Their website, originally built on Drupal, was outdated, full of crumbling tech, and was difficult for the staff to update. They had been running on work-arounds and band-aids for years.
We migrated content from Drupal to WordPress including more than 60 pages, which included long-form event pages with links to more easily buy tickets.
Their website also included a completely redesigned and sortable classes feature, as well as donations through GiveSmart and other user experience improvements.
After the launch, their SEO analytics showed dramatic improvements. The site was ranking for 1,925 keywords after launch compared with 1609 keywords the previous year, with 1,551 of those that were either new or improved.

Wisconsin Bankers Association’s massive legacy website on a proprietary platform wasn’t working for them any more.
We assessed their needs, redesigned the site architecture and navigation and built a custom WordPress website. The site migration included a custom calendar of events, dozens of old blog articles and a brand new filterable member directory.
We made major URL structure changes, which required 301 redirects and wildcard 301 redirects to change entire directories. These redirects ensured that none of their users — or Google — would get lost when clicking on links from old emails or search results.
In fact, immediately after the migration and relaunch of the new site, their analytics showed dramatically fewer site searches for specific content because the site was so much easier to navigate and because we took the care to ensure there were no broken links.
