How to Clear Your Cache

Here is a video tutorial showing you how to clear your cache various web browsers, including Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.

How to Clear Your Cache in Chrome

Click the menu button in the top right corner. Under “Tools” or “More tools,” go to “Clear browsing data…” Alternately, you can type Ctrl+Shift+Del on your keyboard. To delete all the data, select “the beginning of time” and check all the boxes. Then, click “Clear browsing data.” It may take a minute, depending on the amount of data.

How to Clear Your Cache in Internet Explorer

Type F12 on your keyboard. Then, go to “Cache”>”Clear browser cache…” or type Ctrl+R.

How to Clear Your Cache in Firefox

Under the “Tools” menu, go to “Options.” Make sure you are on the “Advanced” tab on the “Network” subtab. In the “Cached Web Content” section, click “Clear Now.” Then, click “OK” to close the window.

How to Clear Your Cache in Safari

Under the “Edit” menu, go to “Empty cache…” Click “Empty.”
